I lived and worked on the peninsula for many years. I even helped build the Mornington pier!

So I can tell you it’s definitely better in the summer (beaches, markets, carnivals , festivals etc) yes a bit more crowded but a bit more action so book early.

We might do it again at some point. There was no point going to beaches or piers because of the weather so that could be on the cards for next time
