I have no doubts that banning is warranted on reddit. My initial ban from a few years ago was from me telling a young boy, maybe 16, to stand up for themselves rather than just get the school involved in a bullying situation. This was read as a promotion of violence. While that can be misconstrued, it certainly shouldn't be a reason to be banned. Im not not guilty of the ban evasion, but the initial ban was to me unwarranted and when I appealed it I was promptly denied.
