In the future copy and open the link in a browser (I use Firefox on Android), then copy that link and delete everything after the question mark. I use LibRedirect for everything I can, but it only displays proxitok, which hasn't worked for well over a year, and offtiktok, which doesn't seem to have any public instances listed. So I'm guessing there just is no frontend landscape for tiktok like there is for youtube, reddit, etc.? Sorry to ask you out of the blue, but it sounds like you might be well versed in this kind of thing. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] SpookyBogMonster@lemmy.ml 4 points 1 year ago (1 child) The extension Lib Redirect you set this king of thing up for all kinds of websites, including tiktok permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 1 child comment replies: [–] QuietCupcake@hexbear.net 2 points 1 year ago* I know, I use it for all kinds of websites. For tiktok specifically, the frontends it redirects tiktok urls to are proxitok and offtiktok, and I mentioned the issues with those. permalink fedilink source parent [–] CyborgMarx@hexbear.net [S] 9 points 1 year ago Thanks for the heads up, it was a burner account anyway that's been linked to a dozen times already, but it's good I can now disable the tracker permalink fedilink source parent
