CIA deputy director’s son killed while fighting for Russia in Ukraine, investigation claims (kyivindependent.com)

Michael Gloss, 21, was the son of CIA Deputy Director for Digital Innovation Julianne Gallina Gloss, and Iraq war veteran Larry Gloss.

Before arriving in Russia on August 13, 2023, Gloss was travelling around Europe. On his Vkontakte page bio, he wrote: "I ran away from home (and) traveled the world. I hate fascism."

On April 4, 2024, he was killed, likely during a Russian offensive near Bakhmut, however, his burial in the U.S. did not take place until December 2024, Important Stories reports.

What a fuckin weird story, it makes it sound like he was a peace loving hippie who wanted to make the world a better place, then smoked one bong hit too hard and ended up doing a complete 180, joining the fascist fuckheads and died making the world worse off

Unless he visited Russia (stupidly, not the first to do so nor the last), they figured out who his parents were and forced him on the front line somehow? blackmail?

This definitely the most odd story I've read so far

    I know too many peace loving hippies that turned to vote far right after covid.

    I blame internal issues but mainly foreign disinformation campaigns.

    Na that fucker was an apartheid fascist the moment he was born if you look at his family. But that doesn't diminish your point of drugs and social media making it worse

    we can plainly see what Ketamine + Twitter does to a person.

    I know someone in this boat. Was trying K as a therapeutic, doctor-monitored, etc. for severe anxiety and depression. As far as I know he never abused it... but he also ended up deeper in the Twitter hole afterwards. The neuroplasticity is a double edged sword, it seems.

    We are no longer on speaking terms after he tripled-down on being a bigot.

    Could just be lack of critical thinking and education, as both of those things have been attacked in order to make the masses more complacent. Made them suseptible to the reactionary thinking in the first place
