I had this issue, using pop. It just would not connect without specifying some parameters (I canโ€™t remember which, domain or something and a few others). I had the same problem on Android, with the same solution.

    On windows, I only had to enter username and password.

    This is the information I had to specify when I connected from Linux and Android:

    Security: WPA2 Enterprise/802.1xEAP Encryption/EAP: PEAP EAP Phase 2 authentication: MSCHAPv2 CA certificate:

    That is in addition to a username and password I had to create via the university's website. On Windows, username and password sufficient.
