It's a shame so many of us have been convinced to fall for it. I'm glad I got out years ago, but the housing market is abysmal too. The problem is that too few people have too much and the rest of us have to do without enough. We need to unite against the ruling class and redistribute their wealth if we want our situations to improve. It's literally the only way. They will kick. They will scream. That means it's working.
