I can’t be arsed to find it now, but a while back there was an effort post in the subredditdrama sub about how a bunch of porn subreddits were being taken down due to “moderation” issues and at the same time porn subreddit moderation was getting consolidated under a small handful of power mods that were gatekeeping accounts promoting newer/less established OnlyFans and other such sites. Theory was that was purging the amateur nature of the NSFW side of the site and making it more “professional” adult content in order to be more palatable to investors.
