Try going to an "AI" conference as a woman sometime.

Grift and misogyny go hand-in-hand.

    Thats because everyone at an AI conference is going to be managment or sales.

    E.G. Salesforce has Two conferences every year. The dev one and the sales one. The dev one deals with legitimate development of Salesforce and new tooling. The sales one pushes AI on the unwitting.
