Abravnel's pictures show two bearded men wearing sunglasses and three other men wearing face coverings on board the boat. One of the men on board appeared to be holding an image of Mike Lindell, CEO of the My Pillow company. Lindell, who is a well-known Trump supporter, recently hit back against claims that his product pricing was inadvertently linked to neo-Nazi propaganda.

Yuuuup.

I find it equal parts infuriating and hilarious... These motherfuckers want to pull some "Jesus hates this one trick!" type shit to trick their lord into appearing sooner than would "naturally" happen and they don't think the all knowing all powerful God wouldn't realize they had millions of people killed purposely for this? Their meddling and enabling is what would have that region in the state of war "required" for Armageddon...

    I believe in their view, it's presented as 'god can't come back until conditions are right, don't keep him waiting'

    The answer to why god needs their help when he's all powerful is some mumbling about tests of faith and the unknowable nature of the divine

    It's something I've noticed is pretty consistent across a lot of the very evangelical Protestant denominations, they have so many contradictions that just asking some veryxbasic questions just shorts out and they have to rely on thought terminating cliches. At least the less insane Protestant denominations and the Catholic Church try to maintain some level of actively grapple with the conflicting concepts. The catholic church for all its problems does have theologians throughout its history attempting to make more logical sense of the beliefs, even if many of those beliefs are somewhat nonsensical.

    Fun fact: Kelsey Grammar (Frasier) is a proud Trump supporter and Christian who also publicly supported Roseanne Barr after she was fired from her show's reboot for tweeting that one of Obama's advisers was what happened when the "Muslim Brotherhood and Planet of the Apes had a baby".

    Big oof... What a "wonderful" person... Didn't you know though, Roseanne was only racist because she was on Ambien!

    And literally multiple times in the gospels Jesus literally says none of us will know the day or the hour of his return. And so many people take the Book of Revalations at face value rather than understanding it as more of an encoded hit piece against most likely Emperor Nero who very much ramped up persecution against the early Christians. Basically saying, this Nero guy is a piece of shit but don't lose faith.
