I really want to cut ties with Reddit. I keep reading this stuff to keep me motivated to cut those ties.

    Yes, love that I found a new home. But it is an adjustment and the bugs of the apps can be frustrating. But so happy to have a place to engage and to make post. I love Lemmy.

    Honestly, you don't need any app. I'm using Firefox on mobile and it's way better than the app I tried.

    The Lemmy web app is progressive, and you can "install" it on your android phone's home screen easily enough. But it's still a web app, and it's kind of janky, compared to a "real" app.

    Though, I'm comparing it to things like Reddit Sync and Apollo, which are fantastic.
