idk starting to think that a fascist coup in the US, like an actual one, not the joke jan 6th tantrum but mass pogroms and assassinations, is an inevitability at this point, like it's what everything is pointing towards, and what meager leftwing exists in the US should treat it as of a piece with climate catastrophe and adopt a "prepper" mindset for it, even if that's like pessimistic or "soft accelerationism" or a psychologically "unhealthy" space to be in like what else can we do we just fail and fail to prevent this or to even effect a change that has a chance of one day moving the needle like what the fuck
