I mean, I am too. The joke doesn't make sense as it's written, but it would if there's a different game that uses X to backstep.

    There are TONS of games that use X as a dodge button. Just because the big game dev, fromsoft, use another button for roll, doesn't mean no game does. The joke isn't about what button you press, it's about getting someone to press literally any button that would mess them up in a normally safe situation.
