The liquid was dried up in all the home tests I had lol. I had to go to urgent care to get tested for a recent mystery illness. Absolutely surreal to be taking my mask off and have a nurse not wearing a mask swab my nostril while I have respiratory illness symptoms.

I knew healthcare workers were getting pretty blase with COVID, but for real I felt like I was crazy.

I bet. I run across a lot of posts from immunocompromised folks on my socials and the horrors they go through just to get care is wild. The world is losing its damned mind.

It’s genuinely so wild to me. Even looking past masking in public places, or any extra risk from covid compared to other respiratory illnesses, when you’re inches from the face of someone who 100% has a contagious respiratory illness wouldn’t you want to wear a mask???
