I will never understand why Democrats preserve the filibuster. When Repugnicams are in power, any tool that Democrats could use to hold them in check gets scrapped. Why do Dems keep trying to play fair?

    Really? Because it seems like they were ones trying to rein in corruption and set some fucking boundaries but the Republicans once again did what they do.

    How is the BOTH SIDES ARE THE SAME?

    Seriously, no one believes that anymore, and if you spout that shit you either have an agenda or you're not paying any attention at all.

    No. The Dems used the filibuster even more during the Trump presidency than the GOP has during Biden's presidency. Sure the filibuster is abused and needs some changes but it's saved all our asses plenty of times.
