You can also install the PWA from your browser. Go to lemmy on your mobile browser, go to your browser menu, and click install.

    had no idea about this, I've been using it in the browser because Jerboa is clunky and still lacking a bunch of features, thanks for the tip

    yeah I know, it's still missing kinda basic stuff like moderator tools (or if they're there I can't find them, which is another problem) and I find the overall UI less intuitive than the web app. I know it's in the early stages and I'm not trying to shit on the app or devs in any way. just doesn't seem like the best way to use the platform at the moment.
