I can't get enough how well the Sue's get on!! Just so positive, supportive and sweet!
Sam, Lucy and Julian's hotel attempt could very well be a great plot for a horror movie!

This is probably my favourite episode! I enjoyed it from start to finish! Sue's "please don't make me fart in the dark listening to my own name!", then the reveal of Wayne just put the biggest smile on my face. I was as excited as they were. And the tension of the placement of their cardboard selves. Soooo good! I loved it so much!
I was listening to a Hard Fork, the NYT tech podcast and they made a good point. Billionaires like him can have anything they want, so they have nothing else to chase for other than the high of people reacting to their antics.
Was thinking the same thing.
"Slow down for a moment, tackle one thing at a time" helps a lot when I'm anxious and overwhelmed.
That's pretty cool. Other than the 90s see through colourful laptops (which I think I'm only fond of because of nostalgia), I also miss those black and white MacBook designs of.the 2000s. Good to see black Mac is making a come back.
Not sure if it's a small thing but I think I would change it so good deeds make a bigger impression on people than the bad.
It's a bit of a rainbow sunshine kind of wish but it's human nature to remember bad things easier than the good, it's a survival instinct to protect ourselves. But with all these conflicts and discrimination, big or small, if people don't let fear dominate, everyone would cut each other more slack.
Of course this requires everyone to have the same mindset to work, that's why I think making that small change in human nature at its core is the only way, and only a genie could pull that off.
I think unless they're competitive like Ed, Rose, Dara, James, etc, they would prefer to show up less prepared for more comedic effect. Also to be fair, Katherine bashed out several random miracles in a small space of time, I barely remember it myself, as a die hard TM fan.
For me it's when she described the gargoyle as "put the thing they have on churches that's evil" and Julian said confidently, "crucifix"
I, like Sue, assumed she was in the clear since she completed her task. But it was still very moving how Sue graciously accepted it right away and just happy to help a friend. Julian's comment about LGBT community in conclusion just topped it off. I didn't expect Taskmaster to make me feel teary.
I think the candle trick was possibly also inspired by Katherine Ryan's Champion Of Champions task of "perform a miracle".
I genuinely looked away from it and didn't quite recover from it until half way through the workout task. And I thought the saliva task from S13 was bad.
To be fair, it seems to be a thing in his regular life. Greg mentioned it in the episode, but I think Tim Key also said Alex would eat anything when challenged.
