I watched this movie for the first time a few years ago and I was bracing for the worst but it was surprisingly wholesome, and not homophobic or transphobic. Like, for one, the Wayans brothers are not forced to do this disguise schtick like I thought. They CHOSE to do this. Further, at every opportunity for someone to see through their terrible disguises or treat them like a "man in a dress", no one bats an eye. They are fully accepted as women, and later on in the movie when it is exposed that they are not the characters they are impersonating, the friends of those characters actually prefer the Wayans brothers over the real girls. Everyone except Terry Crews of course, but he only has a problem with them not being white, not not being women.

Really my only references are the video Engineering Knits made about her making a fair isle sweater with one, and the instructions that came with it. Since it's a basic knitting machine, it can only do stockinette stitching, so you have to use a handheld latching tool to create the perls manually. Isn't too bad if you only do a couple rows of ribbing 🙂

We need to fundamentally change our values to prioritize life over money. Money, the abstraction of value for exchanging resources, has brainwashed us into collecting and spending it. We've allowed it to get between us and access to literally everything tiny thing we need to survive, and we even use it as a social score that places us in castes. Money truly is the root of all evil. Think about it, every decision we make is based on money, how much it costs, how fortunate you are to have the money in the first place. Money money money. Life over money, please
