Harbaugh is one of those coaches that can get a playoff team out of a down year though. They're not going to be tanking for a year, maybe just lower expectations.
I wouldn’t bet on it but the NFL is a crapshoot and they have good QB. Anything is possible.
I don't think Chargers' roster is bad. It's good enough to be a playoff team right now. Competent coaching might have them challenging the Chiefs in AFC, like one of the top 5 teams - in the mix with Chiefs Ravens Bengals Dolphins.
No. 2 years? Yes absolutely.
With a QB already in place? Hell yes he can.
Chargers have had good rosters for a while now but they were underutilized by the incompetent organization. A good coach should make a difference.
