Now imagine this, but it's because you aren't a millionaire and can't afford a place to live. Am I supposed to feel sorry for him?

Hotels. Not motels.
That's the thing about being very rich. You don't even need to rent a place or own a home, don't have a car or bike, you don't even need to learn how to drive. Don't have to manage finances or balance budgets. Hell you can be practically stateless these days. Just buy a passport in whatever country you're in that weekend.
You just come and go. Totally frictionless (and therefore an empty and meaningless) existence.
There's "homeless," and then there's "movie star homeless."
dint he spent most of fortune on some frivilious things that made him "rich-poor", he should be ghost rider again.
A fucking sinkhole would come after nick cage wouldn't it. He probably did something method-acty to deserve it.
He is so fun to watch, he could probably make a few mil with a writer and a camcorder and a shitty found footage film using just his home and the sinkhole.
Should just make a movie out of this. The sinkhole is following him around like its Michael Meyers.
The Unbearable Weight of Massive Sinkhole
And who's going to play his 20-something blonde girlfriend?
Hahah, it is entertaining just imagining what the plot to this movie would be like.
As if there aren’t roughly 10 million people who would let him use their spare bedroom for free.
Honestly, I believe it from him. I need to look up whether he ever got out from under all that debt.
He made hundreds of shit movies to pay off the IRS. Moron made millions and spent it thinking he didn't owe taxes.
Why do you need to?
Back in the day, the rumor was that he was an alcoholic and had massive gambling debts, and that he had to take whatever roles he was offered simply to stay afloat, which is how we ended up with so many strange Nic Cage films. Most articles say he actually made bad real estate investments. If he’d finished paying his debts, it would mean that he’s not in as much trouble as I expect, and that he’s making weird projects for fun now.
“I don’t have normal trick-or-treaters that I would like to enjoy tonight,” he said. “I’ll take my daughter out trick-or-treating somewhere in Santa Monica..."
Wait, do people living in mansions actually accept trick-or-treaters showing up to begin with?
And, he's not starring in a role on that location, why? 🤪
