Like a year or two ago, I said some mildly zionist stuff and kind of baited the dbzer0 folks so I can block the most toxic debaters on the topic. But my views have changed towards somewhat antizionist. My view that there are toxic debaters hasn't changed. There are plenty of bad actors from both sides of the debate on the topic such as Samskara (who luckily got banned) on the Zionist side and on the other side you got the tankie triad saying shit like "there are no civilians in Israel" or condoning Hamas or the PLFP.

And while there are still Zionist users on Lemmy, they are far and between. On feddit.org for example, I can count the clearly Zionist users this year on one hand.

Social democrats and democratic socialists aren't the same though. But yeah, they hate social democrats a lot too even though they are far better than what the US has now. Though in Europe social democrats are often social in name only.
