A major new conservation project is underway to protect one of the UK’s threatened snakes.
The scheme focuses on the adder and aims to better understand and address the impact of habitat fragmentation on its declining populations.
Led by reptile and amphibian conservation charity Froglife, the collaboration includes Newcastle University, Bangor University, University Centre Cornwall College, the Cornish Adder Project and Natural England.
