Shut right the fuck up, I’ll have you know that my floordrobe is a valid and perfectly normal clothes sorting and storage method, and not in any way indicative of my spiralling mental health
post
I moved into a tiny home and realized I can totally just wear the same four variations of outfits every week, as long as I remember to use my tiny all-in-one w/d for one of the outfits every night. My friend has the opposite idea: grab a week of outfits from storage every week and add the previous week of outfits to a pile for wash day at the laundromat.
Genuinely, having a tiny home has been great for my adhd problems regarding cleaning. Chores are so bite-sized now that I don't need to fight myself into doing them anymore
I want one of those dry-cleaning place conveyors to loop into my closet and then into the 1000sqft of my attic so I can keep a shitload of laundry out of sight but retrievable with a button.
I want this except there's also a built-in washer/dryer/steamer combo built into the loop. Toss dirty laundry into a hole in my closet, press a button, a machine scans the tags and applies the proper washing technique to each individual item of clothing. Clean clothes come out of the other side of the loop, already on the hanger and ready to wear.
A licensed interior designer is just someone who printed a business card with fancy font.
lol everything I have is my floor. Means floor to ceiling is 3.2 feet but hey I still have all of my stuff and horrific back pain
Laundry is my eternal struggle. Dishes are nothing in comparison. I'll be fetching clean clothes out of the dryer for days and only empty it when there is another load to cycle.
My laundry doesn't ever leave the laundry room. There's a closet bar for hanging clothing and baskets for everything else.
Saves on hangers! ☝🏼
The one bit of work I actually do is hanging shirts up right out of the dryer to avoid wrinkles (I don't own an iron because I'd never remember to use it)
Plus, I hang dry anything that stretches or is synthetic.
