A new organisation supporting the restoration of beavers to the River Tweed has asked local residents for their views.

Beavers on Tweed has welcomed Scottish Borders Council’s discussion on the future of beavers in the Tweed catchment, while cautioning against deciding too early that natural recolonisation was preferable to a future licensed translocation.
