We can agree Alex Karps is a psycho now but his dissertations not so much a "here's a blueprint for how to kill people" and more "fascists are killing a lot of people, let's study how they're doing it to prevent it" like most Frankfurt school stuff.

This would be like saying orwell wrote a book about how to use language and surveillance to control people. Yeah some people took the torment nexus as a blueprint, but that was not Orwell's intention.

Karp was a surprisingly far left guy before palantir, eg. that's why he studied at the Frankfurt school under Habermas. He just got corrupted by the neocons who surrounded him and the ungodly horde he accrued over the years.

We like to imagine our villains as born killers, torturing animals in the crib; but the reality is they're just normal people who were deceived or corrupted into doing horrible things.

Orcs come in hordes, dragons sleep on hoards ^_^

Do you have a link to the paper? It'd be interesting to read, these ones were wondering what the facts on the ground were about that. Also language use is a special interest.

I think most people are aware that system benefits from those people and we need to abolish that system and put new one in place. I don't see point in defending him, he is perfectly aware what he is doing

where did you get karp was far left before

Behind the bastards podcast did a series on him that went into his early life, I'd highly recommend it as it's interesting to see his journey from a red diaper baby, to a Marxist theorist, to heading a surveillance-ware empire.

A shorter version can be found on the early life section of his Wikipedia

He was influenced by his parents' activism for civil rights and social justice during his youth and went to many protests.[13][2] He said what he inherited from his maternal side was "a strong affinity to fighting discrimination". Karp initially wanted to be a social theorist.[17] He earned a bachelor's degree in philosophy from Haverford College in Haverford, Pennsylvania, in 1989,[18] then enrolled at Stanford Law School, where he earned a J.D. in 1992.[19][20][3] While at Stanford, Karp met Peter Thiel. The two bonded over their exasperation with the law school and a passion for political debates. Thiel recalled that, "He was more the socialist, I was more the capitalist. He was always talking about Marxist theories of alienated labor and how this was true of all the people around us."[2][7] Karp said that he felt different at "every institution I interacted with".[2] After his undergraduate studies and law school, Karp earned a Ph.D. in neoclassical social theory from Goethe University Frankfurt, Germany, in 2002.

And yes that is The Frankfurt school of Habermas and Adorno that the right wing claims formulated the Marxist critical theory that infected all the woke left.

The local officials that are collaborators are the ones that have to start paying consequences. It needs to needs to be very scary to help genocidal monsters and people arent scared to work for them.

    Extraction of what?

Local authorities were given no advance information about the transaction.

Karp made the purchase through his newly registered company Cladonia Skog AB. The chairman of Cladonia told the Swedish newspaper that the land provides valuable habitat for wildlife and space for recreation.

    What is a death kill-chain?

Not sure why they felt the need to write it as mass death kill-chain vs just kill-chain, just weird editorializing I suppose.

But on the off chance you're actually asking: a kill chain is the series of events and actions that take place from target acquisition to target elimination (aka when the target has been killed). So an overly simple example might be: UAV Recon drone -> artillery spotter -> artillery gunner.

Having these freaks in a death kill-chain wouldn't need any euphemisms for me
