    No, she didn't go to prison for a study trying to detect early markers of cancer, she went to prison for promising magical detection that didn't exist.

    It's sort of like seeing an article about a boxing match and saying "Didn't [someone] go to prison for beating someone up?"

    I feel like I read a headline like this every year. I know we are probably getting closer, but is there actually something new this time?

    Far as I can tell:

    • May lead to earlier prostrate cancer detection (which is probably not that useful since prostrate cancer is usually slower so less critical)
    • Specifically no use for breast cancer

    To me, this is not very newsworthy.
