    Not a gun guy, but if that's a 9mm glock (standard police issue?) then i would say it's pretty darn perfect.

    Edit: i don't think it is a glock. It's got that extra lil bit at the back. Told you I'm not a gun guy.

    It's probably the shape of the hammer. Most of the 1911s I've ever seen have a hammer with a hole in it, but you could put one on that's the shape of that picture. What makes me think 1911 is the grip safety.

    That's the GI hammer, the one the US military used for like 75 years. Most modernized 1911s have what's called a bobbed hammer, but that is a commercial modification for comfort. Spur hammers are out of style now because they're stabby and can get caught on things.

    The spur looks a lot more definitive, that's for sure.

    I think there's a semi-recent video on youtube of Garand Thumb testing one that's over 100 years old. I wonder what it'd take to shoot one out? A safe queen might last indefinitely if you don't count new springs.

    It's funny, but I'm more bothered it's not in a flag ratio (Saudia Arabia's flag is 2:3). This is closer to a bumper sticker.

    funny thing is how crazy actual flag ratios can get, from oddly narrow 50:41 from Nepal, squares of Switzerland and Vatican City, all the way to Qatar’s 11:28 landing strip of a flag
