Ah yes... A sample size of 55 and good ol' anecdotal evidence.
AGAD and QIDS have questions regarding sleep, concentration, weight and appetite change, and mood. There's probably a better way for me to put this, but I'm not sure calling answers about mood disorder symptoms in a study about mood disorder is anecdotal. This is a randomly controlled trial.
Where it has problems if you read even the abstract is: both the control and experimental group saw a significant effect. The experiment results suggest that resistance exercise is not isolated enough to draw the conclusions that it's the cause that the news story that cities it does.
Even experiments where the result isn't what's expected provide information and are just as important.
