Not trying to single you out. I think people often miss the point of how conservatives react. They’re tribal. It doesn’t matter what Hillary said, they would have been up in arms regardless, because they just want their team to win at any cost.

Exactly. Little d donnie is the guy that the right thinks is so fantastic at coming up with a nickname [1] that just destroys some enemy of his. He started calling Joe Biden "Sleepy Joe" and boy, his followers felt that was so S-M-R-T and clever, tee hee!

Now that same little d donnie is falling asleep right out there in public and they try to lie about it and/or say nothing about it.

Donnie's nicknames for people are some of the laziest and dull shit ever, and all his accomplices seem to think they are these devastating sick burns that donnie is just uniquely great at. The last time I saw this kind of behavior over lazy nicknames was when idiots were too afraid not to laugh at some bully's insults for someone else in high school. It's downright cringe and truly embarrassing. I guess it's because most conservatives are really just authoritarians that desperately need someone to follow. Donnie is not at all clever or funny, but they act like he's some great insult comic.

Yeah, I assume it's because they are so ensconced in their filter bubbles in media, and many people probably have cut them off or at least try to avoid as much as possible IRL, that they hardly know anyone to the left of Hitler, and so they cannot imagine how Democrats win.

I think it still helps to keep perspective. Because I remember the cons melting down over:

A stain on a dress. All kinds of imagined bullshit during the 90s, including: Janet Reno was gonna take all the gunz and throw every patriot in a FEMA death camp, the Clinton Body Count email forwards. Then it was how Obama was married to "Michael", Obama didn't supply his long form birth certificate, a latte salute and a tan suit. Then they freaked out that Biden called out authoritarianism and acted like that is the real fascism.

Meanwhile, tiny d donnie does about a dozen horrific things per week and the cons and the Murc's Law Media just shrug, if they acknowledge it at all...

I guess the game has still a big fan base, probably because the follower game hasn't been released yet
