( I might update this list later if I missed any URLs or it changes. I mostly visit KCNA and Rodong Sinmun but some of the other URLs also have very interesting pages. )
How do I post in this comm?
- Visit a website that uses the .kp TLD.
- Find a webpage that you think is interesting.
- (important) Post the .kp URL of the webpage in this comm. (remember to follow hexbear Code of Conduct)
- (optional) Include a screenshot, copy/paste quote, or archive url of the thing that you find interesting.
What if I found something interesting about DPRK on western media or social media (twitter, reddit, etc)?
There is a likelihood that content related to DPRK originated from a .kp website.
To find the .kp page associated with the content, you first have to approximate the date of the content. If you read an article about DPRK in western media, then use the date given by the article. If you have an image, try to do a reverse image search of the image and then use the date of the earliest oldest webpage.
Once you have an approximate date of the content, you can look at archive.org snapshots of KCNA and Rodong Sinmun for that date to find the article associated with the content. Replace YYYYMMDD with the year/month/day of the date of the content to find an article. August 09, 2026 would be 20260809.

https://web.archive.org/web/YYYYMMDD/http://kcna.kp/kp
https://web.archive.org/web/YYYYMMDD/http://www.rodong.rep.kp/en/
https://web.archive.org/web/YYYYMMDD/http://www.rodong.rep.kp/ko/
For KCNA, you have to click on the camera button to view images on the article. I think Rodong Sinmun embeds the image into the page.
What if I don't have a .kp url?
If you don't have a .kp url, then you can't make a post on this comm. If you want to make a post on this comm, you have to find a .kp url. The intention of this rule is to verify that the content originated from DPRK. There are other comms that you can post in.
Am I allowed to make posts that criticize or disagree with web pages hosted in DPRK?
Yes, but please be respectful, keep an open mind, and follow hexbear's Code of Conduct, ie do not be a reactionary.
