ngl you see heaps of terrible bronze sculptures on the internet these days i'd begun to think US artists (or the people comissioning them) were too cheap and enshittified to produce quality---and while these have a certain fetishism they're without doubt fabulously crafted. look at that texture on jabba, the feathers on the cat's back

I mean I never did a deep dive on George Lucas but between this and his first star wars being an allegory for Vietnamese resistance I'd say he sounds pretty cool.
