The worst part is when the top image was broadcast, people said that it was unrealistic and it would never get that hot, and now here we are, 24 years before the predicted time we're already surpassing all the predictions (I say prediction very loosely because I don't think there were any studies done)

Last time I checked, if you assume 3.5C global warming, the numbers are likely to reach 50C by 2050.
