that seems pretty wise. This administration doesnt seem like its going to care a lot about silly concepts like "private property" or "ownership" when shit hits the fan

They never did, that's why big businesses in TVE global South and Asia get away with extraction for pennies, exporting, while keeping wages low and abuses high, at home and abroad, while also enjoying backing of USA funded terrorist groups, who will kill laborers and civilians who protest cancer and other disease-causing waste discharged into air, water, soil, while also selling back some resources at exorbitant costs. You can see similarities happening in the United States with the 13th Amendment and Taylor Farms, Eggland's Best, but also Nestlé and Cocoa overseas, water at home. And as soon as a people try to nationalize their resources or unionize their labor, there are wars incursions of attrition, bank accounts seized, sanctioning, imprisonment, shooting unarmed in the streets, placing them on lists, being declared terrorists (like protestors of Genocide, UN employees, and what happened in Bolivia, Peru, Guatamala, Viejas, Nicaragua, Venezuela, Cuba, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Dominican Republic, Congo, Vietnam, Korea, etc.

Moved over the past 6 months, but on the down low. I suspect we'll be hearing similar stories from other central banks sooner, rather than later.

Not surprising. There's been talk of removing gold from the US for a while now. For example Germany and Italy together hold over 2000 tonnes in the US. But there's been plenty of talk of removing a large proportion of that.

AFAIK France already removed their last remaining gold at the beginning of the year.

You don't store your money in a bank run by thieves...which is pretty much what the US has become... except that we're a bank run by retarded thieves. I know that the R word has gone out if style. For the record, I never use that word to describe people with a mental disability... unless they're Republicans. Being a Republican in today's America isn't a mental disability. It's goddamned willful ignorance.
