The new Lexus EV will be made using advanced manufacturing methods, including gigacasting, to cut costs and speed up production.

The report comes after Toyota scrapped plans earlier this year to develop a flagship next-gen Lexus EV in Japan using similar production methods.

I don't understand why manufacturers are dragging their feet BEV is absolutely no-doubt the future of cars.

Transit would be better yes but we're still gonna have cars realistically for a good while and BEVs are gonna dominate

    Man cars suck nowadays, used to be there was ranges to select from. You could go high end like Merc if you were a hotshot, Rolls if you were oppulent but now Merc is mass produced shite competing with Kia and Rolls are nowhere to be seen.

    Where are the truly innovative featureful common welathy cars gone? Lexus used to have such great finishing touches on incredible cars, now everything is the same engine as a Rav4.
