Our analyses showed that the risk of fatality was 1.2 times higher when the crash involved a station wagon and 1.6 times higher when it involved a utility vehicle, relative to sedans and hatchbacks.

IMO that's really interesting as the front of a station wagon an a sedan is basically the same. So where does the difference come from?
