Side point but it's kinda crazy how the modern usage of paper tiger was coined by Mao an interview with one of the US's greatest historians, and most US citizens have no idea who she is or have read anything by her. (Anna Louise Strong)

    It's such a great example how the whole free press narrative is a brilliant piece of propaganda. It turns out that simply marginalizing ideas is far more effective than banning them.

    the recent elections throughout latin american and southern asia proves that the us empire is still really good at intervening throughout the world without weapons stockpiles.

    American financial strength forms the basis for these interventions though, and that's rapidly evaporating as well. Just look at the whole fiasco with yen carry trade unwinding.
