Currently the M. 2230 2TB SSDs are $50 off at bestbuy, they're $169.99 - https://www.bestbuy.com/site/wd-black-sn770m-2tb-internal-ssd-pcie-gen-4-x4-m-2-2230-for-rog-ally-and-steam-deck/6551144.p?skuId=6551144

And the 4tb Samsung Pro 990 is the cheapest I've seen at $250 - https://www.samsung.com/us/computing/memory-storage/solid-state-drives/990-pro-pcie-4-0-nvme-ssd-4tb-mz-v9p4t0b-am/

These are the best drives and prices I've seen if you want the most storage for your 16" when it comes in!

169 is a pretty bad price i bought a 990 pro 2tb for 100$

Isn't the SN770M a 2230 SSD? Those are always more expensive because of how dense the NAND has to be.

You're right I check it and it is. I'm not sure why OP was looking at those.

For the 16" coming out. It has a 2280 and 2230 drive slot. Did you read the post?

Oh, i wasn't aware the 16-inch has one of the tiny slots. Does the expansion bay thing on the back have more m.2 expansion?

Yep, if you decided against the GPU, you have two more M2 slots in the shell. I worry they won't be available in future expansion options (like a battery for example) though; so I'm not planning on counting on them.

Why would anyone get this for the laptop and not just the WD black sn850x 2tb on sale for 115? You're paying more for smaller form meant for even smaller devices and gaining nothing
