    It's because it's so insanely humid. Today the temp is 21c with 89% humidity, and this is bad enough. plus no air conditioning and houses built to trap heat.

    same, ive been to england thrice and the weather was unironically amongst my favourite experiences there, i visited dover castle and it was all foggy, it was great

    More people are getting AC installed now but AC is pretty expensive still. Like a decent AC can cost at least 3000 euro in The Netherlands. If you are renting, good luck convincing your landlord to do that lmao. A mobile AC unit won't always work.

    Yeah, I am very fortunate to have been able to get an install for less than that (and to live in my family abode so that landlords are not in the picture at all).
