Long ago, traitors used to be hanged. As far as I’m concerned, any separatist is a traitor.
Anyone who would like to leave Canada, knows where the border is. Trying to take chunks with you, is treason any way you slice it.
Alberta separates? Okay. The whole province is now under Indigenous ownership by the constituent Nations, and former Alberta residents now are members of the respective Nations subject to their laws and governance system. Danielle Smith and the American-funded separatist interests are free to pack their bags and leave.
Calgary will be renamed Mohkínsstsis or Wenchi Ispase ("Elbow" in Blackfoot and Cree), Edmonton to amiskwacîwâskahikan ("Beaver Hills House" in Cree) or Omahkoyis ("Big House" in Blackfoot).
Surely, rejecting immigrant cultures and returning to the cultural roots of the western land is what the separatists want, right?
