The US has neutered the EPA and cancelled a lot of safe water regulations, scrapped most domestic battery manufacturing plans, and import most of their fertilizer ingredients under a supply chain choked by tariffs or war.

Sulphuric acid is also used for hard anodizing, which is a surface treatement used for aerospace applications.
