    Shouldn't there be some equivalent volume on the left and right? How is there more money lost than won? Isn't this supposed to essentially be some kind of trade system.

    The bank always wins.

    You don't get more of your bet if more people lose. You get a ratio of the amount that you bet. For exemple, twice the bet.

    These ratio are set so that the betting platform wins a little on the average.
