Could I do the following with a basic Apple Watch? (alien.top)

Download music from Spotify so I can listen to it with blu tooth earbuds (without phone being present and no wifi connection)
Use a fitness app to track workout time, distance (without phone being present and no wifi connection)

I currently like jogging in parks and have to keep my phone on me. If I got the basic Watch could I leave my phone in the car while I do my jog?

I would like to point out that although this is a function, as someone who runs with Spotify and no phone, the app is quite buggy and often struggles to play offline. :)
