i have a 14 pro, about 8-9 months old and still at 100
Apple
A place for Apple news, rumors, and discussions.
Thats very impressive... 3 years already and still om 91%... You're taking very well of your phone
2 years heavy iPhone 11 Pro usage, 78% ✌🏻
1 year 13 mini 92%
2 years at 87% right now
14PM that i got in january is at 90% 😑
about 8 months at 91%😬
I’m at 91% on my 13 month old 14 Pro. So far so good, but this phone needs to last me 23 months longer as I am apart of a 36 month contract with Verizon. I definitely will not get into a contract with Verizon again.
88% on iPhone 13 Pro after 25 months.
My iPhone XR goes from 100% to 20% in about 8 hours of minimal use. 89% battery life.
Sum weird. It might not be the actual percentage lol
My 11 Pro went from then end of September 2019 until February 2023 until I finally talked Apple into letting me replace the battery at 83% health rating. Pretty sure it would still have been at ≥80% by the time my 15 Pro Max arrived at the beginning of November.
The 15 Pro Max is lasting longer than the 11 Pro with a fresh battery and a Smart Battery Case. Although to be fair, the 15 Pro Max gets charged during the two hours of commuting I do per day at whatever wattage my Civic puts out. But then, so did the 11 Pro.
I’ve gone from 100% to 63% in about 12 hours. Heavy usage on WiFi with LPM and AOD off. This battery will probably make it a solid three years before I’ll need to consider replacement.
I’m hoping to see an updated MagSafe Battery Pack with a shallower wider body, now that there’s no Mini. Then I can just use that as needed and set it to limit charge to 80%. Might make it considerably longer before a battery replacement that way.
X, 73% after 5 years. Just replaced the battery, and wow. The performance difference is huge. And it was a serious task to drain and charge it the first time. I'm only down to 70% after the whole day now. We'll see how the first week goes
1 year on Iphone 14 Pro. 85%
That’s actually insane I’m 12P and it’s 75%… not just heavy use insane insane use.
Want a cookie?
I’m at 92% at 36-37 months of usage on my 12PM
Can u tell your charging routine plz?
Launch day 11 pro max.
5w slow charging ftw.
OP , can u plz tell how u use to charge your phone , like until what percentage u use to charge and when at what percentage u will plug your phone for charging ?
The 11 Pro max had thr best battery life in my opinion. I have the 15PM and it's an ok battery.
So bad with acronyms that took a minute to ponder wh would anyone use it as 11pm only for heavy use
3 years on 11, 74%
14 Pro Max battery is not great. 1 year in and 92% my XS Max did a much much better job.
Better than mine. Coming up to 2 years @ 88%
92% on iPhone 13 Pro after 27 months.
Wow, tell me how
Wow, Not a single person posting the most important metric - charge cycles
iPhone 12, 80%. The update to iOS 16 did most of the damage, I lost 5% in 2 weeks
My 14 PM is at 95%, got it December 2022 and have been really careful looking after the battery.
1 year with a 14 Pro, 87%
14 Pro. Had it since October of last year and it’s at 89% capacity. At least battery replacements are cheap
We don’t know! Every battery in every single phone is different. It’s impossible to tell and if someone is telling you otherwise he don’t know what he’s talking about.
13 Pro Max is the best. 14PM was some of the worst. I think 15PM will do okay though.
Damnnnnn just like your mom, when I was with her. 3 years of heavy use. Sheeesshhh
I would try to use it after 11pm as well. I mean honestly you can use that anytime of the day. Just kidding
Meanwhile my yea old 14PM is at 86% 💀
My 12PM is down to 78%. Only used for social media and texting. Absolutely wild.
Actually your clock says 10:35PM
My poor sad 14 with 96% in just 5 months
88% on a 14 pro that's less than a year old
I’ve had my 14 Plus just over three months and it’s already down to 97%. Been dropping by 1% a month at this point.
The iPhone 15 Pro Max has a fantastic battery. I charge it once during the day to ~80% after it charges down to ~60% and then charge it up to ~100% before going to sleep, then I unplug it overnight. The battery life is exceptional and iOS 17 is definitely optimized for the iPhone 15 Pro Max to last through the day with normal use and through most of the day with heavy use and also by offering features like seeing your battery cycles in General -> About -> Battery.
I recommend you upgrade to the iPhone 15 Pro Max. I just upgraded from my iPhone XS Max that had a battery health of 84% before I upgraded. I absolutely love this phone. It blows the iPhone 14 Pro Max out of the water.
I can personally assure you , this is not accurate. I had iPhone XR which i got in 2019. I used it until last week. battery health was at 89 percent.
I have used the phone for each and every day. I had to charge my phone 2 times a day, plus it would charge while going to office and coming back in car.
There is no way, a phone with 89 percent battery health needs that much charging.
I feel my battery health had bugged out or got stuck at 89 percent.
This is hardly a revelation, but older iPhones definitely hold up better in the battery health department. My old 12 mini was used very heavily for 2 years (including multiple recharges per day) and it was only on 87%. Curious to see how this 15 Plus handles things with a bigger battery.
Mine is down to 81 after 3 years
I bought an "as new" refurbished iPhone 12 from Giffgaff at the end of June 2023.
Arrived in perfect condition with 99% battery health. Today, after less than five months conservative use, and only charging overnight, it is at 91%.
Is this a reasonable reduction in health in 4.5 months? Obviously not after reading these comments 👎
My iPhone SE 2020 battery was around 85% with 3.5 years of use when I upgraded to regular 15. Now my 15 already lost 1% battery within one and half month of use. Same thing happened with my brother. He’s 12 is at 85% in less than 2 years of use. So, maybe newer iPhones have weaker batteries compared to older ones.
The axiety kiils me man
Huh my 11 got to about 88% in 2 years cause all of a sudden it went from 99% to 96% within a few months
