I want to determine which equipment in my home gives off the most signal so that I can determine the best place to put my router. I'd also like to be able to conduct speed tests with it so that I can compare it to what I get to the online speed tests I take.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

ios/apple does not allows an app access to the wifi controller in the way is needed to obtain the data.

There is a good reason my advise is: use android app wifi analyser. Steal/loan/borrow an android device. your iphone is not going to help you.

I appreciate it! I have a Windows PC, so I’ll use that one for now

Sorry, didn't know you need this on a phone. Last I checked, there weren't any on the iPhone. Maybe I saw some paid ones, but Wifi Analyzer is free for a laptop or PC with a Wifi card/dongle. There's better options on Anroid.
