I am running tvOS 17.2 (21K5341f) Beta. There seems to be a problem when trying to use speech recognition to populate the search field. Whenever I push the microphone button on the side of the Apple remote, it doesn’t seem to be getting through to the searchable field. It’s just activating the Siri function in general. Is there any way to change this?

I was having the same issue and it was driving me nuts. Don't hold the microphone in the search field, just press, release and talk and it will search like normal.

Having this issue too

Edit: saying the app’s name before the search term seems to work. Ex. Open YouTube to the search page and say “search YouTube for ”

I discovered this bug when trying to search YouTube. Have Beta fun, get Beta prizes.

Somewhat related. Every time I ask it to turn on close captions, it says it doesn’t recognize the language. What am I doing wrong?
