[–] bdonvr 3 points 6 months ago (3 children) Can't wait for mine. So tired of charging daily. permalink fedilink source hideshow 3 child comments replies: [–] AlpacaChariot@lemmy.world 1 point 6 months ago (2 children) What did you order and what are you using now? I ordered a Round, my last Pebble was the original Pebble Time Steel but I also had the very first one from the original Kickstarter. Love the nostalgia of those old watches but the new ones look so much better with the slimmer bezels! permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] bdonvr 2 points 6 months ago (1 child) A round as well. I like round watches. Currently have a Galaxy Watch 7. Never had a Pebble but I've come to realize I don't use my Smartwatch for anything except notifications and time so it seems perfect. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 1 child comment replies: [–] AlpacaChariot@lemmy.world 1 point 6 months ago I hope you will enjoy it, I really do think less is more with watches. Notifications, media control with physical buttons, and the odd timer is what I need to work really well (and like you say, not have to charge it every day). I searched around for ages to replace my pebble after they folded, the closest I came was a Fossil watch where the hands could move to indicate different types of notification, but the mechanism broke after about 6 months. I was so excited when Pebble started up again! permalink fedilink source parent
