Batt is the closest I've found
Thanks for the recommendation, I'll check it out. Any chance you used Plus Plus Battery?
All of those only works on specific phone models. So choose the one matches your device.
Really, i don't find any difference on using it and not using it. Both time battery consumption are just same.
Yeah, the model specific ones are a pain to actually start using. It seems like a general case problem though - every phone on the planet needs a battery so it only makes sense every phone should also come with a battery optimizer deeper than just limiting charging to 80 percent.
I haven't, but did just now. It definitely shows more! I noticed Batt shows a percentage for battery capacity right away, but I guess Plus Plus Battery needs to calculate it over time?
I don't know of any. I use battery bot in combination with its notifications of charge above 80% and charge below 30%. And then in my Android system settings, I have the ability to cap my charge level at 81%.
Yeah I'm also using the android system settings, and funnily enough I found the reason for the 80% figure on accubattery.
I bought this phone brand new in 2023 and have been using the 80-30 charge rule at all times since I purchased it and my battery health is incredibly good still.
According to the Android system settings, I just recently passed 400 charge cycles in two years.
If I could get a thousand cycles out of the battery, that would mean five years of daily use. Doing 80 to 30.
If it's a flagship you can go way farther than five years. My last flagship lasted 7 years or so with very heavy use. I expect my current one to last longer.
It's the OnePlus Nord N200. It was actually released in 2021, but I purchased it new in 2023, since I could get Lineage OS on it.
So it's decidedly mid-range, but it gets the job done.
I would personally rather not spend two or three Monero on a phone if I can avoid it.
