Broadcast 2026

In a world where everyone takes wonders like magic spells and dragons for granted, Coco is a girl with a simple dream: She wants to be a witch. But everybody knows magicians are born, not made, and Coco was not born with a gift for magic. Resigned to her un-magical life, Coco is about to give up on her dream to become a witch…until the day she meets Qifrey, a mysterious, traveling magician. After secretly seeing Qifrey perform magic in a way she’s never seen before, Coco soon learns what everybody “knows” might not be the truth, and discovers that her magical dream may not be as far away as it may seem… (Kodansha)

Currently Reading Manga. At chapter 40 but I have to say this manga has the most beautiful panels I have ever seen. Every page can be a framed art.

Exciting! Hopefully the delays gave them enough time to give this the care it deserves.

I hope so much that they don't fuck this up. This deserves a high quality adaptation. Why did a no-name studio get the rights for this?

Same studio as Zom - 100 Anime. Its animation is amazing.

Same studio that has only Zom 100. The animation in the first episodes that I've seen were okay - not amazing in my opinion and I cannot say if the adaptation was good or bad since I don't know the source material. It's wish the adaptation would have gone to an established studio with a great track record. That doesn't mean that established studios cannot fuck adaptations up, but I think the chances of them fumbling are lower.

Oh wait is that getting an anime? I picked up the first volume of the manga a couple years ago but never got around to reading the whole thing.
