"This Week in Plasma" brings the news that Plasma 6.5 will have automatic day/night theme switching, that you can choose which Global Themes to show on the Quick Settings page, and that you can set dynamic wallpaper coloration to be based on the background color scheme or the time of day, or always light, or always dark.

Fucking finally
@kde@floss.social @kde@lemmy.kde.social Yaaaaaay! I've been wanting an automatic theme for a long time!
Thanks to Vlad Zahorodnii and everyone else who finally made it possible!
@kde@floss.social @kde@lemmy.kde.social I am currently stuck on Plasma 6.3, so I have this to look forward to in 6.5. Sweet Anticipation! 😁
@kde@floss.social @kde@lemmy.kde.social a feature I’ve wanted for a long time!
Awesome! I literally just got an oled monitor so this will be very helpful! Will we be able to pick specific theme options for each mode?
Hallelujah!
Dear Vlad Zahorodnii, I love you. Thank you so much for always implementing the best settings. It's like you always read my mind. 😭
