It's been two months since "liberation day" here in the u.s. and while most of the tarrifs are on a pause the tarrifs on China are still pretty high. I haven't noticed anything from my normal grocery runs, was wondering if anyone else has noticed anything.

Yes, there has been a significant price increase at the retailers around me and I have had to shop strategically and reduce or stop purchasing certain things. You should compare your grocery bills vs 2022 in your purchase histories.

I own a game shop and have had my coat on sleeves for magic cards increase. Hasbro also sent out a notice that all of their board games and toys were increasing in my cost, however there was no new msrp given so I stopped with those.

Ultrapro sleeves went up 32% I think it was.

A couple prices that went up also have come down, but not by as much as they went up.

I wish there was a good way to track this, because you know a bunch of corps are going to be trying to pass the buck (while also keeping it)

Hard to estimate when it changes at the whim of a madman God king.

My eggroll Asian cookies were the most obvious. They were like $6 or $7 a box (damn inflation). Now they are $16. Damn those tariffs

I'm not entirely sure. I spent more than a year in Latin America and came back to prices being about 2-3x what i remember. Groceries before I left were 2x compared to before COVID.

Shits fucking expensive in the US.

Yep, higher prices on a variety of things. Check receipts and invoices.

I was wondering why you'd need to check receipts, but then I realized you probably meant old ones, haha

I’ve seen the opposite with Chinese consumer goods. The FiiO’s M21 they recently slashed the price by $150 on Amazon.

I've noticed price increases in a few things, some small, some large.
