Democratic voters want to see the guilty punished, even if they are Democrats. That's where the two parties differ.

    If Democrats punished all corruption, there wouldn't be one person from the party not in jail. Same with Republicans.

    Some accountability is better than none.

    Plus, much of the "Democrats are the good guys" talk comes from the fact that the Democrats are the party at least mildly defending queer rights and immigration while the Republicans basically want to ban immigration entirely, bring back slavery, and push all the queer people back in the closet or into their own graves. The Democrats are the good guys only because the Republicans are literally an empire of pure evil and vindictiveness that only really benefits cis straight wealthy white males.

    I don't get what you're saying, OP. Are you saying Democrats are supposed to be all saints? Or that they're bad for not shielding people like Menendez from investigation? Or are you trying to pretend this is a systemic problem?

    how is saying "it's all the same shit on both aisles, but one is in rainbow colors" is equivelant to being "crypto" fascist? you wanting them to be different doesn't make it so. and it's not just in the us, by the way, it's ALL the same shit all over the world. should we just accept that?
